An Afriqiyah Airways Airbus A320 aircraft enroute from Sabha to Tripoli with 118 passengers and crew on-board was hijacked by two male passengers shortly after take-off. The aircraft was diverted to Malta International Airport, where the two men gave themselves up after releasing the passengers and a number of the crew.
